Position Information

Performs skilled carpentry work in the construction, alteration, and repair of wooden articles and structures; and performs other related duties as required.

Current Vacancy:
There is one vacancy with the Department of Parks and Recreation, Park Maintenance and Recreation Services Division. Position is located at the Manana Warehouse. Work hours are Mondays - Fridays, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Under the supervision of the Lead Carpenter, this position performs skilled carpentry tasks involved in citywide construction, maintenance and repair of departmental buildings, facilities, equipment, and apparatus.

Special Work Requirements: Work and climb heights greater than 30 feet; heavy lifting up to 100 pounds; may be required to work over time after hours, weekends and holidays; will serve as Disaster Response Worker during declared emergencies.
