The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Vehicle Health Management Systems (GVHMS) Team is currently looking for Multiple Software Engineers (Associate/Mid-Level/Lead Level) to join our team in St. Louis, MO.
Our amazing team of engineers develops, fields, and supports platform health management systems for the F/A-18, MQ-25, F-15, T-38, T-7, and proprietary platforms. Our software acquires and manages platform health and usage data, performs health and usage assessment, and recommends maintenance actions. We are tasked with the creation, design, development, modification, proof of concept, verification, testing, and demonstration of products and solutions to maximize platform mission readiness and effectiveness, reduce lifecycle costs, and keep our customers safe.

Successful candidates will develop software and software tests throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle in this role. The candidate will develop cloud-based, micro-service applications in a CI/CD software build pipeline using Agile methodology. At this time, we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Unity, WPF, Blazor, and/or development in a cloud-based environment. Specific responsibilities relate to these technologies; visualization (including AR/VR), UI creation and updates, and transition to and growth of our cloud-based solutions.
Occasional travel may be required (up to 10%).
Position Responsibilities:
- Work in Agile team environment to develop, test and deploy software in Microsoft Technology Stack with .NET Core and C#
- Develop microservices and cloud-ready software
- Design and write S.O.L.I.D clean, scalable code and develop highly scalable APIs and services
- Evaluate code for supportability for all platforms and customers
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and best practices
- Take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives and developing best practices

- Create rich, interactive user-experiences with modern technologies with a focus on performance, scalability, security and maintainability
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience designing and/or developing software frameworks
- 1+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design Principles
- 1+ years of experience with C/C# and ASP.NET
- Proficient in Agile methodology and Implementing DevOps pipeline – Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
- 1+ years of experience as a developer in at least One of the following:
- Unity and the Unity game engine
- Extended Reality (AR/VR/MR/IR)
- Web services frameworks (WPF and/or Blazor UIs)
- Micro-service frameworks
- Cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Specialization in Unity, AR/VR, or WPF/Blazor UI development
- Direct experience with Integrated Vehicle Health Management systems
- Experience supporting Boeing defense platforms

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Lead Level (Level 4):
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
RELOCATION:
This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
HYBRID:
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO). This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2): $85,000 - $115,000
Mid-Level (Level 3): $104,550 - $140,150
Lead Level (Level 4): $122,400 - $165,600
