Position: Workday Testing Lead

Location: Providence, RI (ONSITE)

Duration: 1 Year Plus

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a significant partner for the state of Rhode Island in managing the third-party testing partners involved in the project implementation.
  • Create and implement a comprehensive testing strategy that details the testing process's objectives, functions, duties, procedures, timeframe, and other pertinent data for every stage.
  • Establish test plans for each phase of testing, taking into account tenant setup, data preparation, validation, role and responsibilities, smoke testing (excluding general occupancy), unit testing from beginning to end, parallel testing with all phases, test execution, dress rehearsal, exit criteria, etc.
  • Responsible for arranging and scheduling all testing phases, including End to End, Payroll Parallel, User Experience Testing, Regression Testing, Dress Rehearsal, etc. under their supervision.

  • Monitor and supervise all test execution activities, including defect management, troubleshooting, and resolution.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Having worked as a testing lead for 3 years, I have extensive testing experience in data/workday.
  • With 3+ years of work experience, including experience in HCM and other workstreams such as absence management (one-on-one), compensation, benefits, learning and talent, onboarding, payroll processing, performance management. Functional knowledge required to perform assigned tasks.
  • Experience a comprehensive workday implementation throughout its life cycle.'
  • Data analysis: ability to query data using SQL and BI tools.
  • capable of comparing and explaining data differences.
  • Power user: Pivot tables and related functions.?

Job Type: Contract

The typical hourly wage is between $60.00 and $65.00.

Compensation package:
