This position provides crisis support every other weekend, from Friday at 4:30 pm to Monday at 9 am.
This is a beneficial position.
This position is eligible for a pay differential, in addition to the base salary for critical work. Compensation range w/differential pay included: $3,000.00 - $4,600.
In this Emergency Services Clinician position, you will conduct crisis stabilization or therapeutic intervention, provide supportive therapy to mitigate crisis situations, develop safety plans for individuals at risk, and assist individuals in obtaining appropriate services, either within or outside agency. You will also coordinate social detox/crisis residential placements and admissions to the North Dakota State Hospital. This position also provides support to the other regions as needed via telehealth platforms.

Additionally, you will need to be comfortable providing services in homes and communities, as most services are provided in those locations. Travel is a norm with this position.
To be considered for this position, one must have a bachelor's degree. as a Clinician , you must meet one of the following education/licensing combinations:
- a master’s degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC, OR
- and ndash ; licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners is granted to him.
We will consider filling this position as a Human Relations Counselor, at a reduced rate.
- Human Relations Counselors must have master's degrees in counseling and/or LPCC licensure, as well as be within two years of obtaining a LPCC license.
- OR a master’s degree in Social Work and LMSW licensure
- OR a master’s degree in Counseling and LPC licensure.
Details regarding the license status and the number of training hours already received must be submitted with the application.
The job requirement requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new hire orientation.
The North Human Service Center was designed as a "MENTAL HEALTH TREES PROFESSIONAL SHORTAGE AREA" and is an eligible site for the Student Loan Repayment Program.
