Salary: $3,522 -- $3,521 (monthly) (position in accordance with collective bargaining provisions)

Shiftwork : Applicants must be willing and able to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Duties Summary

Patrols the campus and other assigned areas to enforce laws, rules and regulations for the protection and security of persons and property, and to prevent attempts by persons to violate the law. Conducts inspections of violations, prepares reports and takes appropriate action; and performs other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualification Requirements
- To qualify for the program, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

Specialized Experience: One (1) year of progressively responsible work experience in the enforcement of security laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the protection of personnel and property.

Guard License: Applicants must possess a current, valid State of Hawaii Security Guard License At what time is the appointment made?.

Driver's License: * Applicants must possess a valid driver's license or passport.*at the time of appointment.

Substitutions Allowed: Relevant substitutions as described in the Minimum Qualification Requirements, will apply.

Certification: All applicants must obtain valid First Aid and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificates or equivalent within six (6) months from the date of employment.
