Duties
- Your administration will oversee the training program in various fields for both civil and military personnel.
- To meet current and future changes in command and mission and human capital skill planning needs, you will work closely with department heads as well as at the command level to identify, develop and document training requirements.
- You will oversee all aspects of education/training, including administrative policies and procedures, curricula, certification requirements, teaching strategies and techniques, training tools, facility or equipment, along with counseling and evaluation. Assistance will also be provided.
- The Training Program's overall management will be governed by policy, instructions, and procedures that you will develop.
- Coordinating the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) for Civilian and Military personnel will entail your role as the Coordinator.
- You will provide consulting and management advice on training issues related to various specialized fields and specific functions.'
- You will devise innovative and productive strategies for training program enhancements, communicate these concepts to key personnel both within and outside the organization, and offer ongoing reminders for program execution.
- You will administer tests on technical, professional, managerial, and/or trade positions for significant parts of employee development functions.
