The Impact You'll Make In This Role

As a Technical Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your entrepreneurial curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in the world. Here, you will make an impact by transforming technology.

  • Drive complex projects to enable global material creation and plant extension activities that promote portfolio expansion through improved Global Master Data Management processes, structures, and technologies.
  • Facilitate sessions with business and process stakeholders to understand their requirements, establish technical specifications and efficient designs, and oversee technical unit testing (TUT), and collaborate with developers to build solutions on technologies such as Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrate with ERP systems such as SAP and Snowflake.
  • Gather feedback from user on system performance, troubleshoot technical issues. Provide technical training and execute technical unit testing activities.
  • In keeping with technology changes, be forward in recognizing and recommending system improvements. Plan and oversee projects.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) year experience in information systems, information technology, data analytics, computer science, master data management and/or data science in a private, public or military environment.

Other qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:

  • Experience working with Power Apps (Model driven), Dynamics 365, Power BI, and Power Automate. C# and SQL; Python; VSTS/Git; or Javascript:
  • Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Experience working with Jira.

Work location:

  • Working Your Way Eligible (employee choice to work remote, on site or hybrid)

Travel: may include up to 5% domestic and international travel.

Relocation assistance: may be authorized.

The anticipated salary for this position is $91,279 -- $11,564. This range includes base pay plus variable incentives based on factors including the candidate's relevant knowledge, training and skills; in addition, this job may be eligible for a number of perks (e.g., Medical, dental & vision, Health Savings Accounts, health care) if eligible.
