COMPENSATION

$500.00 for completion of assignment.

Non-salary benefits are not provided for this assignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

WV Professional Teaching Certificate must be held or eligible to hold.

At least 50 per cent of each regular working day must be assigned to school.

They must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to use technology-enhanced and technology-enabled tools and applications.

As a successful teacher of students, a student support person or administrator is preferred.

Successful experience using social media to promote events, nonprofits, and/or businesses is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

On behalf of the assigned school, develop, monitor and administer social media accounts and websites.

Develop, edit and post information about the school's social media accounts, including event announcements, holiday messages, and regular updates on student achievement and activities. School Social Media Account(s) and Website''

Monitor and engage with the public, including maintaining an acceptable use statement for any public-facing social media platform, filtering or removal of content deemed inappropriate and/or in violation of such statements, and referring to information or questions as appropriate.

Provide access to social media accounts operated on behalf of the school and/or other people as determined by the school's principal or superintendent.

As requested, provide training for school staff.

As required, prepare and deliver reports, presentations and analysis.

As requested, attend meetings, conferences, and participate in professional development opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
