Overview:

The Highlands is seeking new Snowboard Instructors to join our Snow Sports School Team! You will be responsible for teaching guests how to snowboard and how to embrace the winter environment! We are looking for both full-time and part-time instructors with a love for the sport!

Responsibilities:

  • Produce a setting that fosters safety, enjoyment, and education.
  • Provide snowboarding instruction in groups and private sessions for guests.'
  • Present and communicate proper snowboarding techniques in accordance with the resort's and the rider's own rules.
  • The American Association of Snowboard Instructors.
  • Compliance with the policy and procedures outlined in the resort team member Handbook and the Snow Sports School Manual.
  • Fulfill your schedule obligations to accommodate business needs. Enlist the help of your staff on as many busy days as possible.
  • Supporting Snow Sports School sales in gaining knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in explaining products, reservation processes, etc. to team members and guests to optimize the guest experience. Additionally,

Qualifications:
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Should possess reliability and time.'
  • The applicant must meet PSIA/AASI certification level 1 but it is not mandatory. Why?
  • Should possess the drive to share information about the sport and encourage others to participate in it with enthusiasm.'
  • A growth mindset (a willingness to learn and accept feedback).
