Department Overview

PWA (formerly PFA) is a component of Investor Partners Group (‘IPG'), responsible for the equity and debt funding activities of the firm. PWA focuses on delivering compelling investment solutions and high-quality client service to the private-wealth market via wirehouses, regional brokers-dealers, private banks, and other intermediary companies specific to North and South America. The team works closely with other nonprofits in terms of sales and marketing, business development, and transactional management, specifically targeting the private-wellness market.

Position Responsibilities

  • PWA Senior leadership supports PWA on critical business initiatives such as business planning, content creation, product and market insights, internal presentations, business memos and ad-hoc analysis.
  • Maintaining expertise on PWA products, including private limited partnerships, BDCs and insurance-related funds.
  • Working as a subject matter expert on semi-liquid products for internal teams including Discovery, Business Development and Investor Relations.
  • Conducting complete competitor analysis, with a focus on semi-liquid products and new product launches in the market.
  • In-depth analysis of market trends provides valuable insights to leadership by supporting product research and generating in-depth conclusions.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • What is the minimum bachelor's degree required in business, finance, economics or a related field?
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience at a private credit, private equity firm, hedge fund or asset management firm.
  • Effective communication skills in verbal and written language, and a strong command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and adapt in response to changing priorities.
  • Strong, proactive problem solving abilities coupled with demonstrated time management and organizational skills.
  • Exhibits outstanding attention to detail, while managing diverse responsibilities within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

For New York City Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be between $125,000 and $155,000. Actual salary may vary based on skills, experience and qualifications for the role in addition to a full set of medical, financial and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off perks such as vacation, sick time and parental leave).
