We are currently looking for a hard working and dynamic individual who will be responsible for developing new technology, innovative solutions and applications to tackle previously impossible challenges in manufacturing, packaging and process transformations.

This role is key to our future robotics technology as well as a component of our portfolio of innovation, such as industrial robots, collaborative robots and mobile platforms.

As a Robotics Engineer, you will:

  • We are testing and developing new technology and software applications, such as robots, control systems and mobile vehicles, along with our engineering innovation team.

  • You are part of a diverse engineering team consisting of mechanical engineers, process engineers, robotic engineers and software developers. You will be a key member of this team and participate in ideation and design sessions to provide input into new projects and applications.

  • Will build on and combine soft social skills with analytical skills, using integrative thinking to convey research findings in order to drive actions together with your key business partners.

Technical Mastery: You should have a strong technical background and/or curiosity to troubleshoot hard problems and develop new solutions. Innovation: Curious about partnering with academia, start-up companies, and external partners to stay connected and informed of all the newest technology.

Project Management: Developing and following project plans including detailed milestone setting and timeline generation to ensure key milestones are met in line with overall program timings.

Job Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science & Robotics (Mechanical) engineering or Software Engineering.
  • These positions are entry level with up to 4 years of work experience.

PREFERRED:

  • What is the best way to get experience in robotics engineering?
  • Experience in engineering design, coding, testing, and deployment support.
  • Design and simulation of robotics.
  • Open source programming: Ros (Robot Operating Systems) is a language for open source development.
  • Computer programming languages, such as Python and C++, are used as Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in computer vision technology and industrial vision systems such as Knorrlean, National Instruments and Conex.
  • Experience with industrial PLC, especially with Rockwell control systems.
  • Experience with industrial networks and computer systems.
  • Experience with robots and autonomous mobile vehicles, including safety requirements, testing and validation.
