The Retail Banker is a customer liaison that is integral to delivering TD's promise of "revenue-generating" by utilizing financial expertise and consulting advice in the marketplace, helping customers achieve their financial goals and optimizing their relationship with TD. This role contributes to the achievement of business goals that enable growth through identifying appropriate TD solutions that help customers meet their banking needs.
Job Requirements
Proficient in products, services, and routine transactions to identify opportunities for educating bank product and service customers and/or transferring them to appropriate team members or internal bank partners, while guaranteeing a positive customer experience.
Requires a broad knowledge and understanding of the full product suite, including services and processes from the business area. Could this be characterized by low to moderate complexity/risk level?
Makes product recommendations based on consumer needs and highlights features & benefits that ultimately support customers through challenging times, challenges, and life events, save time and money, and exceed their needs.
utilizes Customer Relationship Management tools to play a key role in proactively assessing customers, proactively identifying solutions and leading-focused outbound sales activities.
Evaluates issues, errors, and problems based on existing practices or prior procedures.
Describes detailed and/or complex information within the team.
The company builds working relationships with customers and related teams.
The training requires full proficiency gained through job related training to perform a wide range of activities.
Participates in customer outreach, service and advice activities to deliver on our unexpectedly human promise.
Engages in conversations with customers about loan products, and facilitates the application of loans.
Should maintain an active registration status with NMLS (National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry) for any property transaction.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or GED
