Description
If you enjoy providing leadership and fostering a culture of hospitality where training is crucial, the General Manager position at Troon is an excellent opportunity to lead and oversee every aspect of the operation as well as personally, with commitment and responsibility to deliver outstanding service to members and guests.
The Regional General Manager's responsibilities will involve overseeing the successful operation of the six City of Cincinnati golf courses under the Indigo brand. These positions will also handle P&L duties and ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, team integrity, and a culture that prioritizes sales and service delivery, as well as creating positive business outcomes and satisfying customers.
General Manager - Key areas:.
- Developing and tracking annual budgets, revenue targets; expenses; making business volume forecasts (weekly, monthly, etc.).[Note]
- Monitors the facility's financial records/statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and takes appropriate action when necessary.
- Creating basic personnel policy, initiating and constructing basic personal policy; developing and governing policy related to personnel actions, training, and professional development initiatives.
- Keeps complete knowledge of human resources procedures and policy for management personnel.
- He formulates, conserves and supervises an effective strategy and takes action when necessary.
- Keeps in touch with professional organizations such as the PGA, CMAA, and other associations. Takes part in workshops and meetings to stay informed about new information and activities.
- Maintains and manages the physical assets of each facility and every branch thereof.
- Manages marketing initiatives to market the facility's offerings to potential customers.
- Maintains the highest level of food and beverage service on the premises.
- Ensures compliance with all company quality standards, including policy and procedure for multiple departments. This is required. 1.
- Responsible for conducting interviews, hiring, training, planning, assigning, guiding, managing, reviewing, and evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; managing grievances and resolving issues. Additionally, they are responsible for completing job descriptions, interviewing, hiring, planning, delivering, and managing work, reviewing performance evaluations, rewarding associates, and rehabilitating associates.
- Manages department members in a direct manner, which may include Head Professional(s), Golf Course Superintendent(s), Tournament Coordinator, Director, Instruction, and other individuals. Additionally, the department manages members in specialized areas such as head coaches, golf course superintendents, and tournament coordinators.
- Ensures that all new employees receive quality orientation and training. Develops regular training programs.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
The general manager's minimum qualifications:.
- The qualifications required for a Bachelor's degree from XIX to 2022 include four years of college or university experience, five years in private club positions as GM or GH, or equivalent experience. (Multi-course facilities may require additional experience).
Other Qualifications:
- Successful candidates must possess strong writing skills and verbal communication abilities to achieve the job's objectives.
- A CMAA, PGA, or both are required. What are the qualifications?
