GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This job description entails performing manual tasks for the general maintenance and repair of the LUCG property, including facility equipment, grounds management systems (Ground Service Center), and overseeing small team assignments as needed. Additionally, this job description includes tasks relating to the general maintenance of LUCG properties, including but not limited to:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or GED (high school), high school diploma or something similar.
- An equivalent two (2) year experience.?
- Additional years of related education may be necessary in place of years of experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains the ground throughout all seasons without interruption.
- He has the ability to operate light trucks and various power equipment.
- Performs daily tasks of cleaning and repairing garden tools and equipment.
- He engages in the routine manual labor of loading, unloading, and hoisting materials.
- Maintains, repair, and services buildings, facilities, and equipment. All of these activities are considered minor.
- Provide assistance with manual labor duties as needed.
- Manages a small team of workers as required, either in leadership or supervision.
- Performs corresponding duties.'
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Valid Driver's License
To remain employed, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment and maintained.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Before being hired, all positions must pass a background check and drug test, as well as requiring a criminal record check, if not already an offer, according to Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13, and 23-16.
- Should possess the ability to work on weekends, holidays, and emergencies while also being accessible for emergency situations.
- In times of weather-related emergencies, the role of rescue operations may be involved.
