Description of Work

*This is a Time-Limited Full-Time (48 months) position.***

This position reports to the Director of Public Health Evaluation and Quality Improvement, which utilizes the strategies from the supervisor to ensure organization-wide PM initiatives are focused and are enabled to improve operations and program efficiencies and effectiveness; Weinstein provides input in organizational strategy planning and PM policy development. It assists in the support and coordination of organization-wide performance management (PM) programs developed and implemented using a data-driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to current strategic imperatives.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing performance and improving outcomes.
  • Specializing in communicating effectively, facilitating group processes, and training staff.
  • Experience helps you interpret statistics and evaluate research studies.
  • Can prepare comprehensive reports related to public health issues.
  • Proven skills in adapting and applying PM techniques in a public health setting.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with public and private organizations, practices, partners, and programs.
  • Ability to work within a team and solve complex programming problems in high-impact, time-constrained scenarios.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with particular experience in writing complex documents, such as detailed reports to donors, policy analysis, and briefings for DPH and other stakeholders/partners.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Can you handle sensitive situations in a diplomatic, discrete and professional manner? Experience and/or training required.
  • Skill in program analysis and evaluation.

Management Preferences

  • The training and experience applying results-based accountability (or similar performance management/quality improvement framework)
  • Completed Results-Based Accountability Professional Certification (or similar performance management/quality improvement framework certification course)?
  • Considerable knowledge of DPH programs and policies.

Minimum education and experience requirements. Request:

Bachelor's degree from an appropriately accredited institution, and three (3) progressively responsible experience related to the area of assignment. An equivalent combination of training and experiences.
