Full Description
Duties
- Performs supervision of the restaurant. Includes occasional non-scheduled assistance with serving, hosting, cooking. Monitors operations of the business operation during peak business hours to set the pace in Front and Back of the House.
- Adherence to established schedules of activities and priorities; assures the presence of personnel to carry out the services offered; provides information concerning services, prices, dress codes, standards of behavior, and special events.
- Ensures staff is following established recipes and procedures. Helps control the guest flow and monitors ticket times. Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales by performing table visits. Maintains order and harmony.
- As necessary, seeks assistance from military police, to control unacceptable behavior. Keeps an operational log while on duty; opens and closes the facility and performs fire and security checks.
- Assumes responsibility for cash during shift including cash collected from waiters guest checks. Conducts inventory at beginning and/or end of shift.
- Provides administrative supervision to all employees, authorize employees to clock in and out; reports to functional supervisors on employee performance. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/physical/background requirements for this position.
- Must have current health assessment which documents good mental and physical health, freedom from communicable disease, and immunizations IAW current Army and DoD policy including annual influenza vaccinations.
- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain Completion of either front of the House or Back of the House Franchisor specified training.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15, and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
- May be subject to an irregular hours, evening and or weekends.
- Must be able to lift or move objects up to 60 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing over 40 pounds with the assistance of other workers or lifting devices.
- Must stand on tile floor, subject to burns, cuts, bruises, and slipping on wet floors.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) Check.
Qualifications
At least one year of experience effectively working in a fast paced, stressful environment at a large Name Brand Casual Dining restaurant establishment. Must possess good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
Highly Qualified candidates will have the following:
Posses at least 6 months of work experience directly related to the duties described above, that included skill working with professional kitchen appliances and equipment.
