Design, topology and implementation of the local area network (LAN). Manages network performance and maintains security procedures implemented to ensure organization's objectives are met; installs all UC systems. Analyzes traffic and bandwidth for optimal network performance: Evaluates, develops and manages Uniform Communications (UC) systems. Troubles?
Responsibilities:What are some of the essential duties and job functions?
- Manages the installation of network hardware. )
- The knowledge and understanding of both networking and telecommunications theory, practice.
- Communicates with users, technical teams and vendors on new technology and system upgrades. To determine software and hardware installation requirements.
- Configures Switches and Routers
- Network optimization for multicast layer 2 routing and switching provides.
- Do you work with artefacts or provide them for risk management?
- Working conditions are in accord with the NIST/DISA standards.
- Performs switch firmware updates
- The company develops and monitors security procedures to safeguard systems from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized use, or damage to data.
- Network Keeps network compliant with applicable Information Assurance (IA) Voluntary Alerts (VAAs)
- Tech Support provides technical guidance to the VTC engineers and government stakeholders.
- Network processes develop to set up new switches and segments on the network.
- Working in conjunction with the Information System Security Officer.

Mandatory:
- What is the Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience?
- Ten years or more of experience in network marketing, a highly related profession.
- Valid driver’s license
- What is the best way to obtain a security clearance?
- How do I get expert level skills in configuring Cisco switches?
- One or more of the following certificates: CISSP, Network+, CCNP, CIE, CA, CCDE.
