Overview:

Summary:
Coordinate reporting/analytical talents pipeline & manage projects in concert with other work stream Directors within the Analytics Organization (AO). Advise leaders & operators on the prioritization of projects and business implications of reporting/analytics to the organization. Manage and develop reporting/analytical approaches to identify, measure and evaluate health-related solutions and services. Prescribe a set performance standards and utilize them to guide, train and mentor reporting/analytical staff to conduct opportunity analyses, program evaluation work and reporting/analytics execution.

Bachelors degree in a business, healthcare or quantitative field. Masters degree highly preferred. Eight or more years of related business intelligence, analytics and reporting work experience. Three or more years of management experience directly managing/supervising cross functional team(s) or other relevant leadership experience. Experience managing complex projects with diverse teams and developing data driven and outcome based initiatives to improve business decision making and operational efficiencies. Deep healthcare data (e.g., profiling), statistical analysis experience, and demonstrated understanding of health care and delivery system processes. Knowledge of program evaluation, predictive modeling, data mining, and clinical best practices preferred. Must have requisite content knowledge related to program outcomes evaluation, BI tools (e.g., Business objects), data visualizations tools (e.g., Tableau), statistical software such as SAS and Modeling techniques, as well as general health service research and outcomes reporting/analytics.

  • Aligning reporting/analytics efforts of individual teams with greater vision and goals for specific Hub/Spot team members.

  • Leadership competencies include an ability to collaborate and establish working relationships, effective communication across the organization, and the ability to think strategically and influence key stakeholders and business decisions.

  • In the definition and implementation of support programs, program management allows effective collaboration on roadmaps, dependencies, and execution plans across analytical units and with applicable teams in the organization.

  • Manage and execute work portfolios in specific business units of PHS tools, solutions and reporting/analytics.

  • Coordinate with other departments in the AO like IM, Governance & EDW to develop reporting/analytical methodologies, solutions and tools. )

  • Defining and improving processes for gathering, storing, and sharing data and analytics across the organization.

  • The team uses data structure and analysis to analyze issues and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate and prioritize work assignments across the organization?

  • With a director, team, and define, develop, and measure work product performance.

  • Manage team assigned to unit as well develop policy and procedures, assuring product quality, mentoring, training, hiring/firing and performance appraisals.

  • Coordinate the training of analysts in core and expanded business departments. )

  • Support presentations/publications and thought leadership in AO:)

  • Support in developing a year-end value story to demonstrate the values of the team and their contribution toward progress toward AO's and PHS goals.
