Medici's private fleet of professional drivers that deliver our lifesaving medical products directly to both commercial and residential customers, consists of 15,000+ trucks that feature newer equipment. We manage a network of over 50 distribution centers across the United States and provide same-day shipping to 95% of the United States.


JOB SUMMARY:

The delivery driver is responsible for operating a parcel van and a straight truck to transport life-saving medical products to our local customers, the Delivery driver plays a critical role in building positive relationships with our customers by ensuring timely, accurate and safe deliveries.


CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Load and secure product from Midwest Facility into a straight truck or parcel van.
  • Operate a package van and a straight truck between the Mailline Facility and multiple customer destinations on an active delivery route, including wearing safety equipment where needed, performing safety checks, etc.
  • Unload and deliver products at our customers' facility, ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Provide in-person support to the customer, addressing their questions and needs and providing appropriate documentation upon delivery.
  • Communicate with the dispatch team regarding necessary adjustments to the delivery route or schedule in order to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  • In accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy, maintain a travel log.
  • Perform inspections of vehicles to ensure safe operation and sufficient fuel levels for continued use.
