Description

A part-time Lifeguard position has been added by Eau Claire Golf and Country Club. The opportunity is excellent and suitable for those who want to work alongside their peers in a hospitality setting, with heightened expectations for service excellence.
Swimming lessons are paid at $12 + $40 per hour. What's the deal?

The Essential Tasks of a Lifeguard:

  • Keeps a safe and vigilant approach while swimming.'
  • First aid: offers first aid for swimmers' minor cuts and bruises.
  • Keeps locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers clean and equipped with facilities.
  • Provides helpful coordination of member-only swimming lessons and clinics as required by the department. Additionally,
  • Ensures compliance with the rules of conduct.
  • 'Maintains the condition of pools, including chemical inspection and vacuuming.'
  • Ensures timely inspection of first aid supplies and reports necessary items to management.'
  • Keeps a constant schedule and monitors pool games; suggests playing at the designated area.'
  • Removes bugs and other waste from the surface to make the pool suitable for daily use, then disposes of the automatic skimmer. Pumps water back into the pool.
  • After spending the day tidying up and arranging the pool area.
  • Take care of all the necessary records as determined by the department manager.
  • He employs 'precautionary measures' to ensure job safety.
The Lifeguard's eligibility criteria are as follows: 1.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience.
  • Water safety/Instructor Certifications, including First Aid and CPR. All are necessary for certification.


Other Qualifications:

  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Understanding of endorsed hygiene practices and relevant health regulations.'
