The Performance Improvement and Accountability Division (PIAD) of Denver Human Services (DHS) is seeking a highly talented and efficient individual to serve as lead document management technician for the Scanner Operations team. In this role, you will perform lead work duties in all aspects of the Byzantine Document Management operations and maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all public assistance programs offered by DHS.
Lead Document Management Technician: Additionally, the lead document manager:
- Develops or modifies work plans, methods and procedures. determines the working priorities of a company, and develops work schedules to provide adequate staff coverage across three office locations.
- Based on the workload and volume, shifts are made to other work assignments as needed.
- Provides work instruction and provides assistance to employees with difficult and unusual assignments.
- The Federal and state code follows federal and state regulations regarding the timeliness and quality of public assistance applications.
- Assigns and distributes work, reviewing it for accuracy and completeness. Reviews it and makes recommendations for proper completion.
- Collects and compiles data for daily operations and provides analysis of operations. Resolves problems encountered during daily operations and determines appropriate solutions.
- Contributes to the development of performance goals, documenting performance results, providing performance feedback and providing information to inform the formal performance evaluation.
- Responds to oral grievances, and relays information to the supervisor.
- Documents situations which may be cause for disciplinary action, and provides this information to the supervisor.
- As assigned, he also performs other related duties.

- Education: Graduation from high school or possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC certification.
- Experience: Three (3) years of clerical experience or two (2) years of experience as a Document Management Technician II.
- Education and Experience Equivalent: Additional appropriate education may be substituted for minimum experience requirements.
