Job Overview:

Performs labor duties as described here in support of the Redstone Arsenal installation support services contract.

Responsibilities:

What are some of the essential duties and job functions?

  • Loads and unloads trucks, containers or bins by using a hand truck, pallet jack, forklift or wheelbarrow to move supplies and materials to the proper location.
  • Stacks materials for storage or cutting, collects material and refuse for reuse, recycle or disposal. Assists in the salvaging of materials.
  • Moves, collects and arranges different types of materials. Office and house furniture; equipment; appliance:

  • Clean the interior and exterior of the building by sweeping, washing or moving furniture, etc. ).)

Job Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Education or equivalent high school education.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record relevant to the position.
  • Can pass any background check and/or drug test required on contract.
  • If required by management, he must be willing to obtain and maintain a valid Class B, Commercial Driver's license (CDL).
  • You must be able and willing to work in inclement weather and lift at least 50 pounds.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
