About the role:

In particular, junior analysts are members of the Research and Insights team. They perform quantitative analysis with guidance from senior analysts, clean up data files and assist with the preparation of client reports and presentations. Junior Analysts work closely with the project team through all stages of analysis to provide actionable insights and insights for our clients.


Responsibilities:

  • Coding of qualitative data using in-house tools.
  • Under the supervision of more senior staff, perform basic qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Create professional looking data visualizations to support your communications.
  • Assist with client delivered materials and packaging.
  • Conduct research on political and social issues, synthesize research from a number of sources, or conduct literature reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of interviews and other research materials (e.g., interview moderators)).
  • Assist with recruitment for qualitative studies.

Qualifications & Qualities:

  • Boundless curiosity, passion for work and commitment to learning and growth.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt in a rapidly changing political environment.
  • In English, excellent reading and writing skills.
  • Some experience in either politics, linguistics, public opinion research or marketing.
  • Co-op placements and capstone projects are sufficient for this entry level position.
  • How do I multitask and prioritize while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment?
  • 1 year of experience working with either qualitative or quantitative data is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Python, R, D3, and Tableau is a benefit. Data processing tools are also useful.

The salary band for this role starts at $47,06-$67,0K annually and includes a bonus structure for business development.
