Position Overview
This role requires a Human Resources Specialist to perform advanced professional duties in complex human resources administration activities within the Bureau of Employee Services. The position is currently accepting applications for positions in the Office of Human Resources, with responsibility assigned to those performing these tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Working in a high-level professional capacity on the ground, he performs intricate and specialized human resources administration tasks for the Bureau of Employee Services, Transactions Unit #A, B, C, or D.
- He serves as a professional advisor to lower-level employees and other government employees regarding transactional activities. Additionally, he serves as the primary contact for the company's international business.
- Conducts performance evaluations and personnel transactions to ensure compliance with DHS policy, procedures, bargaining unit contracts, and supplemental procedures. Additionally,
- Provides guidance and support to CMS Transactions staff in managing transactions for the agency.
- The exploration of data leads to documents and documentation.
- Provides expert human resource assistance to the Bureau of Recruitment and Hiring for hiring activities that comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Comprehensive Employment Plan, and CMS Compliance requirements (if applicable), as well as the procedures established by the organization.
- Ensures timely and efficient management of all issues that intersect with work areas by working alongside other departments within the Office of Human Resources. This includes Labor Relations, Recruitment and Hiring, Classification, and Workers Compensation.
- Excites additional tasks that are reasonably suited to the duties listed above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Comprises the knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completing four (4) years of college.'
- Must possess at least two (2) years of professional human resource experience.
Specialized Skills:
A state agency requires two (2) years of experience in preparing and processing personnel transactions, out of two (2) years' professional human resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience of 2 years in preparation and processing of personnel transactions for a state agency.
- Experience of working with personnel regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements, and a comprehensive employment strategy for either governmental or private sector. Three years of professional experience.
- Professionally handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality, with at least three (3) years of experience in a private or public organization.
- Having worked on multiple projects for three years, the candidate has demonstrated an excellent ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks with critical thinking skills.
- Three years of professional experience in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders within a public or private organization.
- (2) years of experience in leading and supervising other personnel in a public or private enterprise. Additionally,
