The Position
Job Appointment: Limited Duration, full time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm. Alternate schedule may be available.
Work Location: Hybrid; In-person work to be conducted at multiple locations, based on business needs.

Position Summary
The Human Resources Analyst II position will provide support to the Human
Resources Business Partner (HRBP) and the assigned bureau to perform a broad
range of employee relations support duties including coordination of selection
processes, employee movement, and various HR related trainings. This position
will report to the Employee Relations Manager and will support the Office of
Chief Administrative Officer – Division of Asset Management (DAM).
As a Human Resources Analyst II, you will be responsible for evaluating and implementing human resource management systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers for inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, laws, regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and benefit plan provisions.
- Collaborate with the assigned Human Resources Recruiter to support recruitment processes, including coordinating with managers on emerging and ongoing recruitments; advise in the hiring and selection of employees, developing interview questions, and collaborating with bureau staff to implement onboarding for new hires.
- Deliver classroom and web-based trainings on HR related topics, including facilitating Bias Awareness and Workplace Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation Trainings.
- Lead in the design and administration of annual employee satisfaction surveys, provide recommendations on areas of improvement, and assist with the design and implementation of activities that improve division-wide communication and reinforce a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with the HRBP to provide support related to workplace investigation strategies and consultation to managers and supervisors on investigations of alleged violations.
