Purpose of the Position: In a team environment and under general supervision assures that WIC demographic data is collected meeting the standards set by GA WIC policy and procedure and CDPH Customer Services. Issues vouchers to WIC participants per GA WIC policy and procedure. Provides other administrative WIC services within the standards set by GAWIC policies and procedures to assure prompt services are provided to all WIC clients. Self-monitors and assures that all GA professional and ethical standards for a state employee are maintained. “This position works to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas Counties.

The Essential Functions include, but are not restricted to, basic functions.):

  • Ensures that applicants are familiar with the WIC program, including Dual Participation, using the WIC ID, and fulfilling WIC Rights and Responsibilities.
  • maintain the highest level of confidentiality standards in immediate clinical settings.
  • Completes the demographic and income criteria for a WIC Certification.'

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND Six months of experience handling customer's questions, complaints and/or providing information.

Preferred Qualifications: GAWIC experience, CDPH WIC experience, Spanish/English Bilingual or American Sign Language/English Bilingual. Six months of experience handling customers’ questions, complaints/and or providing information.

Salary Information: $15.00/Hour | Up to 29 hrs./ week | No Benefits
