The Clarkson College Health Care Business Department is currently seeking an open-rank health information management professor who is passionate about facilitating student learning through effective teaching strategies, based on evidence-based practice in education.
This open-rank position will teach in the online Health Information Management Program (Associate and Bachelor's level). This position could teach any topic related to health information including but not limited to Intro to Healthcare Information Systems, Data Management/Analytics, Law/Conflict, Coding, Professional Practice Experience.
The faculty member will demonstrate commitment to the college mission and values to support student success.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management required.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in the field of Health Information
Management required.
RHIA certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Health Information Management, Informatics, Health
Administration or similar degree preferred.
Teaching experience, preferred.
