As Director of Food and Beverage, your role will involve providing excellent guest service and member experiences by assisting and leading front-of-house and back-office food and beverage employees. You will also be responsible for executing all company and facility F&B initiatives at the Club, which includes business planning, menu design, inventory management, service standards training, operational audits, and creative and conceptual development of new F/B experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all front-of-house and back-office F&B functions on a daily basis, including the Restaurant Manager and the Executive Chef.
  • Employ, assess and certify all F&B personnel through recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and teaching.
  • The overall F&B plan and budget.
  • Manage expenses and implement monthly inventory tracking.
  • Support for food and beverage policy?
  • Ensure proper coordination between sales, front-of-the-house, and back-of-house departments. This is crucial for effective communication.
  • Acquire proper documentation regarding laws, legal codes, government regulations on food service industries, and liquor laws and health and safety measures. Ensure compliance is maintained.
  • Ensure that guest and client service is consistently high, taking into account their needs, assessment, satisfaction with the services provided, and level of guest satisfaction.
  • Provide the efficient, productive, and profitable reporting of labor and expenses. All while ensuring accurate cost.
  • Monitor and supervise food and beverage staff to ensure optimal management coverage from opening to closing of daily operations.'
  • Initiate marketing efforts to expand the club's dining options for weddings, private functions, and social events.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by a supervisor or manager.*

Education and Experience Requirements

  • The preferred choice for bachelor's degree holders is an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Experience with 3-5 years of high-volume restaurant management and proven sales and service excellence. Please send your resume.

Working Conditions

  • In this role, the worker is frequently required to use their hands and arms while performing their duties.
  • It is common for employees to have to stand, walk, and use their hands to touch, or touch and manipulate objects, tools, or control panels.

The salary range for BOE employees falls within the range of $80,000 to $910,000.
