We have an exciting opportunity open for a Fleet Data Specialist based in either Maumelle, AR or Fort Smith, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Fleet Data Specialist will be responsible for managing fleets assets with an emphasis on data management. The Fleet Data Specialist will work and collaborate with operations and provide direction around vehicles in need of repair. While in this position, you will focus on improvement in efficiencies involving the reduction of vehicle down time for repair and cost savings.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the acquisition and disposal of company vehicles:
  • Coordinating the vehicle inspection, licensing, and titling of all company vehicles (owned and leased).
  • All titles are received by the records department for preservation purposes. )
  • Responsible for data analysis, reporting and assistance with vehicle maintenance and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of vehicles and other activities that support the operations of equipment.
  • Developing and maintaining records for presenting performance to management.
  • Monthly reconciliation of P-Card.
  • Scan of all invoices, including coding of invoices for all maintenance and capital activities.
  • ARI/Hillman--Add and modify existing client contracts.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school education or GED preferred. College degree, preferred?
  • minimum 2 years of business experience, preferably in finance, transportation, logistics or supply chain management.
  • SAP experience, preferred.
  • Specific experience with company car and truck fleets is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES -

  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and meticulous analytical abilities.
  • Must be a self-starter and change agent with process orientation, who enjoys working in team environment.
  • Strong competencies in forecasting and budgeting.
  • Demonstrated success in consulting with various departments.
  • Should be able to show effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Should possess good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications.
  • Strong ability to take initiative and manage multiple projects successfully while maintaining a commitment to deadlines.
