Full Description
This position will serve as an enforcement case analyst in the Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division (DWEHD). With the assistance and consultation of the Enforcement Specialist and supervisor, this position coordinates escalated enforcement actions triggered by referrals from program and district staff unable to achieve compliance with statutes and rules in the following programs:
- Public Water Supplies, regulated under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 1976, P.O. 399, as amended:
- Under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 1976, as amended, certified drinking water operators are regulated.
- Waste sorters, regulated under Part 117 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, 1994, as amended.
- Under Part 125, Camping, Swimming pools and Swimming Beaches are regulated by the Public Health Code, 1978, as amended; and :)
- Water well construction, regulated under Part 127 of the Water Supply and Sewage Systems Act (W.S. 368, as amended.)
The Enforcement Analyst will handle cases from initial case development through final settlement that may include administrative and/or civil actions that may lead to litigation. This position analyzes cases and recommends escalated enforcement action in consultation with the Enforcement Specialist and DWEHD referring staff and management. This may include drafting of Administrative Consent Orders (ACO), Administrative Consent Agreements (ACA), Notices of Intent (NOI), Enforcement Notices (EN), and referrals to the Department of Attorney General (DAG) and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Environmental Investigation Section (EIS). This position may also include scheduling and/or mediating hearings in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act. This position also has responsibility for reviewing and collaborating in the development of applicable template, procedure, and guidance documents.

The location of this position will be determined based on the selected candidate. However, the selected candidate may Be eligible for a hybrid work schedule (composition of remote and in-person). or A fully remote work schedule (with occasional travel to their original location). Education
The possession of a bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, environmental studies, or physical science or resource development.
OR
A student can have at least 30 semester (45 term) credits in one or a combination of the following fields: biochemistry, biology, botany, chemistry, environmental health, geology, meteorology and microbiology. Environmental science, resource development, toxicology and sustainability. Request for list:

One year of professional experience is equivalent to one year of environmental quality experience.
Environmental Quality Analyst P11
Two years of experience equivalent to an environmental quality analyst, including one year equivalent to a 10.5 percent job requirement.
