New Job Director, Strategy And Business Development In Kansas

Koch Technology Solutions (KTS) a division of Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking a Director of Strategy & Business Development (S&BD). The S&BD capability is a vital component within the KTS leadership team driving business strategy, initiatives, and transformational change. As a member of the leadership team, you will need to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the business unit leaders to drive profitability improvement, organic growth, and expansion of the technology portfolio through partnership and acquisition strategies. Through this work, you will work closely with the KTS Business President, ensuring good economic thinking and decision-making to grow the business consistent with our values and Principle-Based Management.

What You Will Do

• Partner with the KTS leadership team to develop, refine and set the strategic priorities for the business.
• Develop market/industry perspectives and assess the long-term value creation in new and existing opportunities.
• Identify, frame and prioritize improvement strategies (i.e., organic growth, investments and acquisitions).
• Apply M&A best practices to assess and guide the health of opportunities in the funnel to achieve growth targets for the business.
• Partner with business leaders in emerging markets (following addition to the portfolio) to realize or exceed investment bets.
• Develop relationships across the Koch enterprise to understand overall acquisition/growth strategies leading towards a developed point of view on origination opportunities and synergies for KTS.
• Maintain and develop external relationships as a check on KTS strategies, and bring diverse external thinking to the business.

• Experience with inorganic transaction activities: screening, commercial diligence, and integration.
• Experience building strategic partnerships within a dynamic business environment.
