We have an exciting opportunity open for a Data Collection Driver in Jonesboro, AR.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position drives advanced mobile leak detection equipment through assigned habitats to collect methane emissions data, which is used by field technicians and the company's Distribution Integrity Management group on issues found in the field.

This position requires driving a data collection vehicle at night, 8:00 pm - 5:00 am. Schedule is subject to change.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Measures methane emissions by operating advanced mobile leak detection equipment predominantly at night.
  • Accurately enters external data collection parameters to ensure equipment uses the correct algorithm for calculations.
  • Verifies the proper functioning of the equipment and documents data collection to ensure system safety and reliability.
  • Daily routes are planned using existing data to ensure effective operation of the Data Collection technology, providing maximum field-of-view coverage.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of data collection technologies and methods.
  • Observes, notes and records irregularities in driving routes, data collection equipment and vehicles to ensure supervision is aware of any potential problems.
  • Responds to internal and external customers' requests, questions, and concerns in a manner that meets the customers' expectations.
  • Observes, records and communicates gas and water leaking from equipment to ensure safety and compliance with company policy.
  • Participates in training and cross training to increase job knowledge and competency. )

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Does high school diploma require certification?
  • Requires 0-2 years of experience in maintenance operations or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Be able to meet and maintain the performance criteria for the job.
  • Demonstrate thorough working knowledge of the policy, practices, and procedures supporting system leakage surveys. )
  • able to demonstrate a working knowledge of lean survey cycle, segments and routes.
  • Use mainframe software programs like FSM (Field Service Management):
  • Demonstrate ability to operate a personal computer, including working knowledge of word processing software.
  • Understand and evaluate software, hardware and other technologies.
  • able to demonstrate the safe and proper use of a variety of tools.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and in person.
  • Communicate with customers on routes in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Provide and maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
  • Be able to demonstrate respect for all individuals, adhere to the company's values and business practices. Do both consistently.
  • Demonstrate commitment to compliance with applicable laws and regulations, company ethics and compliance rules, and policy and procedure? Do so consistently, take all required training courses, and do so in a timely manner.

Salary based on experience- $19.97 to $26.97 per hour, weekdays.
