We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The primary focus of this role is on cyber knowledge. The ideal candidate should possess a strong networking background and demonstrate an understanding of how threat actors can gain unauthorized access and compromise victims' systems.
What You'll Do
- Conduct thorough analysis of network vulnerabilities and identify potential areas of compromise.
- Utilize scripting abilities, particularly in Python, to manipulate and automate data sets effectively.
- Apply critical thinking to explore alternative approaches to data interpretation. develop innovative strategies and products based on the collected data to effectively convey key points.
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement Alert systems, and possibly contribute to the development of subpoenas based on the analyzed data.
- Utilize tools like Service Now, Shodan, and Censys and have a solid understanding of the attack surface, potentially utilizing the MITRE framework.
Requirements: Education + Experience
- 1+ years work experience
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- attention to detail and ability to spot potential vulnerabilities or anomalies within systems.
- Strong network knowledge and understanding of how threat actors operate and exploit weaknesses.
- Importance of programming language in data manipulation and automation, particularly in Python.
- Critical thinking skills allow you to analyse and propose new solutions.
- Shodan, Censys, Cortex XPanel or similar have a solid understanding of the attack surface and potentially utilize the MITRE framework.
- Proficiency in working with various file formats, including Excel, CSV and XML, to extract, transform and store data.
- Computer Science, Information Systems and Cybersecurity degree or other related field. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science?
Nice-to-have
- Experience working with classified data and a proven ability to handle sensitive information.
- Such as Security+, CEH, or similar certification. )
