Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Hawaiian Culture Advisor is responsible for research and studying information, preparing tools and materials. Responsible for having knowledge and understanding of Hawaiian culture and history, specific to Kahului (Hawaiian Monarchy), and stories of Kahului, Hawaii. Is it essential to incorporate Outrigger's 4 Keys to the Hawaiian Cultural Experience?

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Finding information, preparing tools, and materials. Conducted activities as advised with cultural activities, cleaning up and all else is necessary to achieve a successful life.
  • Greets and communicates with guests with a smile, in a warm, friendly and confident manner, including but not limited to:
  • During departure and arrival time, greet your guests.
  • Greeting VIP guests and clients.
  • Assisting with photo shoots, public relations and other marketing items.
  • In addition, assist with guest inquiries on significant cultural sites to visit as they explore the island of Hawaii. Assist in Hawaiian culture events held on property for school field trips (DOE & private sector) and community activities.
  • Providers, maintainers, and the proper materials for all activities.
