POSITION OVERVIEW

The Concierge is a place that offers personalized, tailored service, and attention to detail to each guest. This role involves providing expert guidance, booking reservations, and scheduling transportation, as well as local knowledge to enhance the guest's experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These and other tasks may be assigned as required:.

  • Ensure that guests are well-cared for, and welcome all guests with excellent service throughout their stay.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, offering personalized assistance and answering any questions or requests.
  • Moreover, it asks questions to determine the guest's requirements and suggests additional services and amenities to improve the guest experience and generate more revenue.
  • Have extensive knowledge of the resort, its amenities, and services such as outlets, business hours, promotions, events, activities, or other features for guests to enjoy.
  • Provide unbiased insights on local spots, cuisine, entertainment, cultural highlights, and exclusive experiences. All of this and more.
  • Assign restaurant reservations, spa treatments and tour schedules, manage other guest needs and ensure that the best times are made and arrangements are organized.
  • Manage the transportation needs of guests, such as airport transfers and private chauffeurs or car rentals.******
  • Obtain tickets for special events, concerts, shows, and cultural performances as per the guest's needs.
  • Ensure that the concierge's office is well-lit and visually appealing, with ample resources for information and local guides.
  • With help with preparing and arranging special events, festivities, and surprises for the guests to enjoy.
  • Take measures to ensure guest safety and security, including reporting any suspicious activity or suspicious events.
  • Addressing any guest concerns or issues with empathy and efficiency, and escalating matters to the relevant authority as required. The next step is to resolve them directly.
  • Foster relationships and trustworthiness with third parties, including tour operators, entertainment venues, and restaurants. Enhance the connections between these entities.
  • Participate in administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and handling concierge requests.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Education and work experience: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, or similar field. Or equivalent.
  • At least six (6) months of experience in Concierge, Front Desk, or Guest Services for a large, luxury resort preferred.[M]
  • The preference for Le Clerc de l'Or remains strong.
  • Highly motivated and energetic individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.
  • Ability to remain calm while working in stressful and busy environments.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks.
  • Ability to safeguard sensitive personal information of guests and companies.[L]
  • Basic technical knowledge and experience in hospitality management programs, as well as technological advancements like hotel automation and smart rooms.
  • Potential to actively engage in and motivate collaborative work with individuals or groups at all levels within and beyond the organization.
  • Developed competence in upholding consistent, excellent service levels.'
