In 1979, the Rhode Island Blood Center was founded by hospitals in southeastern Rhode Island as a private not for profit agency to collect, test and distribute blood products. Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

The client relations manager will be responsible for implementing the YBCe strategy to maximize client satisfaction and revenue growth.

This position does not supervise staff.


Essential Funcitons:

  • Identify business opportunities and meet assigned sales goals by maintaining up-to-date knowledge about the blood bank industry, how competition is doing regarding specific customers. Where are business markets changing?

  • Develop, improve, manage and retain relationships with customers by conducting account review to discover new services requirements, receiving feedback on existing services and liaison with NYBCe operations and support departments.

  • Develop and deliver effective sales presentations to increase the knowledge of all YBC products and services available to customers.

  • In conjunction with the Regional Manager, establish a strategy for individualized business growth with current and potential customers and sell additional products and services to current and potential consumers.

  • Maintain long term relationships with customers.

  • and grow nybc's position in the market by building relationships, developing contacts for marketing purposes within hospitals.

  • Ensure full knowledge of communications and messages received by customers and focus on ensuring messages are understood and precise.'

  • Partner with analytics to interpret and predict unexpected patterns of performance to forecast.

  • Assist in managing the implementation of solutions, reporting and tracing issue resolutions.


Other Functions:

  • Prepare various reports.
  • Provide educational support for customers (i.e., seminars)
  • As required by law, he attends conferences and seminars. )
  • Make recommendations to improve business unit practices and processes.
  • Any related duties are assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business, sales management, marketing or health administration or equivalent.


Experience:

5 years of direct experience in account management and direct sales in a competitive market are preferred, experiences in healthcare, customer service, and pharmaceuticals or medical sales.


Knowledge:

  • Sales Training
  • A strong knowledge of hospital operations.
  • Medical terminology knowledge. Knowledge of medical technology?
  • Working knowledge of CRM (i.e., salesforce, contract management system):
  • Proficient with a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Ability to manage institutional relationships and navigate through large, sophisticated organizations.
  • Ability to develop and grow relationships with clients, including clinical partners, VPs and C-level executives.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal skills, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, ability to understand data and present information to clients.
  • Can build relationships to develop new business opportunities.
