The Job

As CFO, you will serve as a member of the executive committee, directly reporting to the president. Your hands-on approach will be crucial in driving the financial operations, strategy and reporting for the firm.

You are based in Portsmouth, NH and work closely with the executive team, president, and board.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing financial strategies that are aligned with our firm's goals.
• Overseeing and managing all financial processes, including forecasting, budgeting, executing quarterly financial statements and reporting to the president and board.
• Leading and mentoring a small team of financial professionals, while also actively participating in day-to-day financial activities.
• Ensuring compliance with reporting and regulatory requirements is both an undertaking and a responsibility.

What we’re looking for:

• Master's degree in Finance or accounting, preferred. )
• Certification required for public accountants? How can I get it?
• Ten plus years in financial leadership roles. Is Investment Advisory Experience a Good Addition?
• Also, experience in a major accounting firm is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skills.
