Overview of Job:

The Georgia Dream Business Support Analyst 2 is a hybrid work position, the essential function is to support the Georgia Dream office director in various capacities as assigned. This role also works with CDC's Marketing and Evangelization Coordinator at least three days a week.

What is a detailed description of responsibilities and duties?

The following are the essential functions identified for the Program Administration Specialist. Additional essential functions can be assigned by the officer Director as needed. The job description as stated here is subject to change as governed by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, Human Resources and/or state of Georgia policy and regulations.

Responsibility-1

Under the direction of the office director and with the support of the Housing Outreach Coordinator, the Program Administration Specialist will assist with the preparation of Georgia Dream's outreach strategy.

Duties

  • The plan is to implement outreach activities that will inform lenders, real estate professionals, and community leaders about single family programs.
  • Coordinate with the CDC and other local governments to provide a full array of information to local leaders interested in housing and community development.
  • On a monthly basis, analyse the effect of the outreach strategy, make necessary changes and recommendations to the office director.
  • On a monthly basis, collect data, prepare reports, and monitor loan production and lender participation.

Responsibility - 2

In conjunction with the GA Dream Host Committee, other DCA staff members support the Georgia Dream Program's outreach activities.

Duties

  • Make presentations and respond to correspondence from real estate professionals, developers, lenders, community leaders and the public regarding the Single Family Program.
  • Coordinate with Outreach to develop, produce and distribute the Single Family Program brochure, flyers, displays and other marketing materials, as well as use of the Internet or other electronic marketing media.

Responsibility - 3

Under the direction of the office director, increase lender participation by recruiting and retaining lenders, including developing a communications strategy to inform external and internal stakeholders.

Duties

  • Maintain awareness of active mortgage lenders in the state and the trade and professional associations supporting them.
  • Identify potential lenders, contact them and attempt to involve them in the Single-Family programs to ensure that the programs are available statewide.
  • Respond to correspondence from lenders, borrowers through various channels, including email (Housing Inbox), phone calls and social media.

Working conditions (travel, hours and environment):

This position is currently designed as a hybrid (partially in office and part of remote/telework) position. This position requires full time work and may require occasional overtime. Local travel may be required. )

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS

Sedentary work - The ability to occasionally exert 10-20 pounds of force, and/or the negligible amount frequently used for lifting or otherwise moving objects. Sesential work usually involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
