We're hiring a PART-TIME Banquet Server in Manalapan in New Jersey at Knob Hill Golf Club!

Ideal candidate with passion for hospitality. Banquet server to deliver outstanding guest service and member experiences through your role - ideally suited for the role - required. Pasta and wine experience preferred. Pasta & wine experience preferred - previous Chartered Accountants preferred.

The ideal candidate will be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays, and can work on weekends. This comes with competitive compensation starting at $8.00 per hour plus banquet gratuities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper policy and procedure by following the appropriate policy and procedure.
• Providing accurate and timely set-up and breakdown of tables, decorations, equipment, and serving areas related to activities. Additionally, assist with accurate and timely serving areas.
• Ensure that their banquet food and beverage service matches the standard of their a la carte menu, while also providing excellent food and beverage options.
• Consistently communicate with the client throughout the event to ensure their satisfaction with any changes, substitutions, or special requests. This includes ensuring that no surprises are made.
• Attendees are expected to attend events and serve them (refilling glasses, delivering food, bussing tables, etc.) as a way of providing service to customers.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the manager or supervisor, while also performing other duties as directed by The manager or supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Experience in food and beverage industry is required. Must also have related experience in related field.
• Acquaintance with relevant laws related to health, drugs, alcohol, and food. Understanding of relevant regulations.
• Must have food and beverage/a la carte and banquet experience options. Must have foods and beverage options at the same time.
• The ideal candidate must possess outstanding organizational, productivity, and attention-grabbing skills.
• Must possess excellent communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. Additionally, individuals must possess excellent communication abilities.
• A strong service orientation and a strong commitment to service. Must have a strong service orientation.

Working Conditions

• Standing, walking, bending, and scooping for extended periods of time (4-6 hours) of prolonged physical activity, including standing, walking, and bending, is a crucial component of physical activity.
