Location: New Haven, CT
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week | Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, with one day a week of teleworking only.

- The following are: Petty Cash Report, Agency Accounts Verification, Stores and Supplies Form, GAAP report.
- As needed, assist with Medicare cost report, CFSR and B1.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations using QuickBooks.
- Review bank reconciliation by others.
- Replenish Petty Cash.
- Deposits are entered into the CORE-CT system (PeopleSoft).
- Processes JS and SSJs to allocate costs for invoices such as progratiir, translation, Concentra, phone bills, Quench, computers and others.
- Process Fleet and Cell phone bills, in addition to distributing monthly cell phone bills to staff for sign off.
- Assist with training of other staff in asset management, processing of license reimbursements, travel authorizations, PC cards and invoice processing.
- As needed, update policy and processes.
- As needed, process various bills such as lab bills and others.

Performs the most complex financial and administrative tasks within a unit that clearly exceeds its norm, as defined by leadership, and prepares and analyzes complicated financial statements and reports or requests for budget, projects expenses and assists in financial planning. maintains office work flow and determines priorities; schedules staff training and assistance; conducts or coordinates office procedures to conduct performance evaluations. The unit manages various stages of the budget process for this purpose. Recommendations on:

Qualification of general experience: Minimum qualifications.
7 (7) years of experience in a combination of financial and administrative functions, including accounting, examining, budget management, grant administration, payroll, and purchasing. At least one must be in accounting or budgeting.
Minimum Qualifications - Experience.
One (1) year of general experience must have been at the professional working level of financial officer, accountant or payroll officer 2.
Note: Connecticut Careers Trainee experience (target Fiscal/Administrative Officer or closely related class) is at the professional training level and is below the professional working level.
MINUTE QUALIFICATIONS ALLOWED.

College training can be substituted on the basis of fifteen (15) semester hours, equalling one-half (1/2) year of experience to a maximum of four (4) years for a bachelor's degree.

A master's degree in public administration, business management or accounting may be substituted for one (1) additional year of general experience.

For state employees, experience as a purchasing officer or salesman substitutes for general and special experience on a year-round basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience preparing financial reports for various stakeholders, including but not limited to: Medicare Cost Report, GAAP report, Stores & Supplies, and Agency Accounts Verification.
- Experience with reconciliations.
- Experience managing a high volume of records and processing financial transactions with speed and accuracy. "
