Duties
- You will plan and participate in the Audit & Surveillance program, including tracking required corrective actions.
- You will support the NAVSEA in its functional audit of other activities.
- You will maintain a library of external and internal directives and technical publications. '
- You will maintain training and qualifications records.
- You will provide training presentations and assist personnel in the qualification process.
- You will review and make recommendations for improvements to the program documentation.
- You provide quality assurance support to Code 34 Electromagnetic Systems.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
Education
successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
- After successfully completing three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D., or equivalent degree, with majors in quality assurance, statistics and mathematics; production management, industrial management; computer science & engineering technology (e.g., mechanical), physical sciences, textiles etc.
- LL.M. successfully completed an LL.B. related to the position being filled.
- As described above, the combination of experience and graduate education equals one year's total. My percentage of required educational experience plus my percentage of needed experience equals 100 percent.
Additional information
You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Logistics, Quality and Materials Management Branch, Code 3432; USW Electromagnetic Systems Department of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. If selected, you will support the quality assurance program and the SUBSAFE program within Code 34, assuring the quality of submarine electromagnetic systems and products.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
