THE POSITION

Do you have experience providing physical and operational security? The Pennsylvania Lottery Security Division is seeking to fill an Administrative Officer 4 position. This role assists the Director of Security, law enforcement, retailers, vendors and employees at assorted agencies to achieve security objectives.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position manages physical security programs for the new on-line and instant games, coordinates investigations of possible security violations; oversees data storage and retrieval operations; provides information systems, telecommunications and support for customers. Duties include: conducting internal security studies for the Deputy Secretaries as necessary. Conducts security for the drawing team and the drawing processes.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.
  • Working hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday -- Friday, with 30 minutes for lunch. )
  • Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to two days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Middletown, Pennsylvania.

QUALIFICATIONS
What is the minimum experience and training requirement for a job?

  • One year as an Administrative Officer 3; or
  • Six years of experience in progressively responsible and varied officer management of staff work in public or private organization, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, and procurement; and such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four-year college or university; or
  • Any combination of experience and training.


Additional Requirements:

  • Three or more years of full-time PA lottery operations. "
  • Three or more years of experience setting up or executing responsible gaming initiatives and programs.
  • Three or more years of experience.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
