You will be responsible for capturing business in the assigned market(s) and developing and executing approved sales & technology strategies for specific account(s) to achieve sales and marketing objectives for the account as part of North America's Global Objective. "

As a manager of a battery materials company, you create chemistry.

  • Developing and executing a sales and technology strategy to achieve annual and long-term goals, and a budget for assigned customers.
  • In conjunction with global technical services and the counterparts from different regions, including transplants, creating and capturing business opportunities.
  • Understanding customers, research and development of transportation systems, and the voice of customers in the business community.
  • Being responsible for the sales of catalyst materials to the automotive and consumer electronics industries and building a sustainable business for the business unit.
  • Identifying and creating demand for BASF's proprietary catalyst materials through formulating and executing commercial and technology strategies in concert with CCB's global strategy.
  • Coordinating necessary resources, including but not limited to R&D and technical sales, to execute technology strategy and manage competition in schedules.
  • Implementing a pricing strategy and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Cultivating and strengthening relationships with customers in both global and local levels, to penetrate the customer organization vertically and horizontally.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and managing sales. )
  • Within each country's organization, each functional unit provides information about the market for batteries/batteries and the key players' activities and strategies.

Higher Education Qualifications: Higher education institutions are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Certification or equivalent. )

Your formula for success…

  • Bachelor's or master's degrees ( preferred ) in chemical or related field. )
  • Maximum 5 years of sales/marketing or business development experience with diverse customer relationships in the field of LIB are necessary. Demonstrate track record of growth and new business development with comprehensive exposure in multi-cultural working environment and handling international and local accounts.
  • Thorough understanding of business development, especially in highly technical industries.
  • Provided ability to identifiy new business opportunities and develop appropriate strategies and relationships that will deliver future sales.
  • Demonstrate the ability to implement business plans and demonstrate strategic thinking skills.
  • Availability of 50 per cent of travel.
