- Manages plant capital construction projects.
- Verifies scope of work orders, with field visits to clearly confirm WO execution details.
- Understands the basic CMMS inputs for the proper planning and scheduling a work order.
- Understand SHE requirements for all work to be performed.
- Learns plant process and procedures for better understanding of how equipment is utilized.
- Maintains good working knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies, rules, and procedures pertinent to areas of responsibility and ensures all applicable requirements are adhered to.
- Promptly reports unsafe working conditions to management and communicates potential hazards to affected employees.
- Collects, records and analyzes project costs, Planning and Scheduling KPI’s.
- Experienced in the use of email, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
- Promptly elevates issues to PA management
- Coordinates with venders, maintenance, commercial, operations, and IT to develop and schedule maintenance task, capital projects, and yearly shutdowns.
- Manages all IT projects onsite. Acts as existing onsite IT support and coordinates with IT to ensure all IT related projects and issues are resolved.
- Develops and Delivers Progress reports, requirements and documentation and presentations.
- Has knowledge in Ignition and other automation and historian programs.
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk applications such as rendering, autocad, NAVISWorks, etc.
- Able to implement new technologies to progress to Industry 4.0
- Analyze data from machine health monitoring to improve PM and PDM.
- Analyze different elevation and loading data points to find ways to improve production.
- Work with Procurement, receiving and Purchasing teams to ensure warehouse is stocked of necessary parts and maintained.
- Works with FGIS IT (if necessary) to ensure government projects are completed to their standards.
- Three years of experience in Project Planning and Scheduling.
- At least two years of managing plant capital projects.
- 4-year university / technical degree. Preferred bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural Engineering. In lieu of degree 10+ years of relevant project management experience.
- Valid Driver’s license
- TWIC Card
- Ensures work area is kept clean and free from safety hazards.
- Participates in daily plant management meetings.
- Plans and schedules maintenance activities for the major shutdown events.
- Accepts/carries out/completes other duties as assigned.
