Zarpac is seeking a talented Project Manager for Conveyor Products to provide direction to multi-disciplined teams in collaboration with ProMach clients on the execution of mechanical conveyor projects and mechanical conveyor plus controls projects booked under the Statera ProMach Brand. The Project Manager is directly responsible for executing scope deliverables and for achieving or exceeding project financial projections.

Statera Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Act as primary customer interface/contact for commercial and execution activities.
  • Coordinate and drive conveyor project execution through stakeholder management of Engineering, Quality Assurance, Procurement, Production, Shipping, Finance, and Customer Service toward attainment of on-time delivery, contract compliance and targeted profitability.
  • Establish and nurture a positive and productive working relationship among customers, internal and external vendors, and internal project team members through face-to-face meetings, teleconferences, and routine communication.
  • Manage and facilitate prompt, meaningful communications with the customer to resolve technical and commercial issues.
  • Ensure timely invoicing at conveyor project milestones and assist when needed with resolving payment delays through customer outreach and engagement.
  • Understand customer needs and standard requirements.
  • Build valued relationships with existing and future customers.
  • Stay up to date on all product features and educate existing and future customers about product features.
  • Provide customer service support for the Statera Product lines, tabletop and mattop conveyor, MDR conveyor and pallet conveyor.
  • Attend weekly conference calls with ProMach China team.
  • Manage conveyor aftermarket program – spare parts identification, inventory management, parts quoting. Be the primary customer contact.
  • Travel frequently to US assembly location in Statham, GA.
  • Occasionally travel to China fabrication and assembly location Wuhu.
  • Occasionally travel to customers’ facilities to support warranty and paid service visits.
  • Solicit feedback from customers for requested product improvements and work with the engineering team for potential implementation.
  • Lead the efforts for new product development. This would include taking over the lead for Accumulation table development.

OEM Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Assist the Applications team with obtaining quotes for OEM equipment in Integration projects.
  • Develop the final specifications for the OEM equipment included in project orders for issuance with PO.
  • Obtain POC information for all OEM equipment to assist the engineering teams with integration details.
  • Build valued relationships with existing and future OEM suppliers.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or similar discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of line integration experience
  • 5+ years of experience with conveyance product lines
  • Experience using AutoCAD to draw system integration line layouts.
  • Experience with Solidworks is a plus.
  • Experience with developing quotations for conveyance in the food and beverage industries.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Good organization, time management skills, and excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office-specifically with Word and Excel).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact in a positive manner with both internal team and external vendors over the phone, in person, and via email.
  • Excellent team player who can work well independently.
  • Solid work ethic and ability to work occasional late nights and weekends.
