AIRPORT CUSTOMER RELATIONS SPECIALIST – $1,500 Sign-on Bonus Available

Aviation & Transportation Department

The Portland International Jetport is seeking one Customer Relations Specialist to join our team. Under the direction of the Airport Customer Experience Manager, this position serves as the frontline employee interacting with the public. This position will respond directly to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and online via social media. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, and compassionate individuals who are proficient in communicating with the public and stakeholders. This position will oversee and manage the airport's website and social media platforms for customer experience information. Other duties include assisting with customer service initiatives including the Above and Beyond program, passenger surveying, community outreach, and other duties as assigned. This position will be responsible for covering a flexible schedule based on traffic. Candidates should expect modest schedule changes throughout the year to cover peak travel times.

The current schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 10:30a - 7:00p. Ability to pass all required background investigations and maintain a valid Class C Driver’s License.

This position is part of the Pro-Tech Union - Grade 5 – Full-Time, 37.5 hours - Pay range starting at $23.22/hour.
