The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Information Systems and Services/IT Project and Portfolio Management is looking for a Research Analyst 3 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:
Incumbents will be conducting comprehensive business research and vital reporting to support the IT Portfolio Management Officer in formulating enduring program, project, budget, and prioritization strategies, including independently testing and appling cutting-edge portfolio and project management methodologies, leading process standardization and improvements efforts, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure effective project and priortity communications and adherence to project timelines. Incumbent responsibilities will additionally encompass the collection and documentation of project and portfolio data for generating insightful reports on lessons learned and measurable success standards.

The Incumbent will be supporting DOT&PF’s head of IT Portfolio Management in effectively managing the department’s long-term IT portfolio, IT projects, and large-scale IT initiatives.

The working environment you can expect:
While the position does work from one location, you will be able to work with colleagues both on location as well as remotely all over the state. This position may be filled in Anchorage, Juneau or Fairbanks.

Anchorage salary bi-weekly - $2,386.50
Juneau salary bi-weekly - $2,505.75
Fairbanks salary - $2,457.75
