Salary: $53,680 - $64,054 depending on qualifications and experience. UP TO A $4000 SIGN-ON BONUS!

We have a lateral transfer program with a special salary scale starting at $64,054 - $70,721 per year and up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus with a vacation time option. Are you licensed or license eligible with no experience, we have up to a $4,000 sign-on bonus for you? No experience? We have a up to $2,500 sign-on bonus for you & we will pay you to train with our Department.

Job Requirements:
Summary: Responsible for collaborating closely with the community to preserve peace and promote public safety through high visibility patrol of local streets, prevention and suppression of crime and proactive enforcement of State Law and Municipal Ordinances as necessary. Typical work activities include but are not limited to emergency response, facilitation of arrests, traffic regulation, investigation of crime and/or criminal activity, rendering general assistance and/or first aid as needed, compiling official reports and other documents and providing court testimony among a variety of other tasks associated with police work. Incumbents will be required to work extended, rotational and unscheduled shifts.

Experience: Must be at least 20 years of age.

Education: High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (G.E.D.) Additional college level course work and specialized training in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field is highly desirable. Associate degree preferred.
