Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in Wausau Hospital in our Inpatient Pharmacy Department.

The Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products and associated functions, under the supervision of a pharmacist. Performs multiple technician job duties of the Pharmacy Department including clean room, cart fill, repackaging, inventory, automated dispensing cabinet, outpatient, first dose, clerical area, chemotherapy preparation, and carousel.

Hours: Full Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks. Day/PM shifts between 6am – 11:30pm, will include weekend/holiday rotation. Does offer employee benefit package.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Knowledge of organizational and project management practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in a health related field, pharmacy and computers beneficial.
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification beneficial.
