The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking Government & Capital Property Specialist (Level 2) to join the team located in Kirtland Air Force Base, NM. As Government & Capital Property Specialist you will be responsible for Government Property and Contractor Acquired Property.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accountability of Government Property and Contractor Acquired Property from acquisition to disposition, including all records, processes, and any other activity required to be compliant with contract, Boeing, and government instructions
  • Prepares documentation as required to manage property in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Conducts periodic inventories of all property and prepares reports to document results of inventories.
  • Conducts investigations into lost or damaged property and prepares appropriate documentation as required.
  • Responsible for compliance with Air Force calibration of test equipment, including records and physical delivery to and from the on-base calibration facility
  • Coordinates property management for the entire site to include assisting the government property custodian with accountability of ITE and equipment maintained on government accounts.
  • Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property.
  • Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Security Clearance & Export Control Requirements:

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed or updated within the past five years is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with Property Management/Property Accountability

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience with Boeing property processes and tools
  • Experience with US Air Force property processes and tools
  • Experience with US Air Force PMEL (equipment calibration)

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 25% of the time, between 2 offices in Albuquerque, NM.
